Hole #1

Par 5 | Handicap 7/3

474

463

How to Play It:
The tee shot places a premium on distance, since this a very reachable par 5. Drives need to carry at least 250 yards landing to right of the fairway bunker on the left. The second shot is into a slightly elevated green with a steep hill guarding wayward shots to the right and a deep bunker to the left.

How to Play It:
The drive on this dogleg right hole must carry 210 yards to the uphill narrow fairway; from there, a longish club is needed to reach the green. All approach shots can run up to the green but must avoid a small bunker to the right of the putting surface.

How to Play It:
The 4th leaves no room for error, its narrow fairway where most 260-290 yard drives will land. From there, one must navigate over a ravine to what can be considered an almost island green. As one of the most holes on the course, players will be happy with par.

Hole #5

How to Play It:
A 250-yard drive to the left of a tall pine is needed to get down the hill and into the fairway, from where the hole turns slightly towards the right. Players are faced with an approach to a two-tiered green that tortures all who leave their ball on the wrong part of the green… but rewards those whose shots land on the correct tier.

How to Play It:
The sixth hole is downhill a good amount. This is my favorite green on the course it has a large ridge running through the middle that makes certain putts difficult. The green is guarded on the front side by two large bunkers.

How to Play It:
A hazard down the right of the entire seventh fairway snatches up any wayward shots to the right. However, a 260 yard drive down the middle sets the player up for a short approach into the green. The main defense of the hole is a green that slopes severely from back to front, three putting this green is very common.

How to Play It:
The eighth hole is a shot par four, off the tee a shot of 220 yard to the middle-right of the fairway will leave you with a short iron into the green.  The green complex is protected by two bunkers on the right side, a single bunker on the left which next to a lateral hazard.  The main defense of the hole is the putting surface and the good undulations it has.

How to Play It:
The ninth hole is the shortest par three on the course, the key to walking away with par is keeping it below the hole.  A severe false front and a bunker on the left and right of the green protect the green complex.

How to Play It:
The tenth hole is a dogleg right, to reach the top of the hill one only needs a shot off 210 yards and the ball will roll down leaving a mid to short iron in.  If you want to challenge the hole you can drive the ball over the iconic oak tree in the right rough, this will leave you a short iron in.  The green complex is guarded by one bunker on the left side, while the green is pitched from left to right.

How to Play It:
The eleventh hole is a tight driving hole with woods on the left and a long fairway bunker on the right.  A solid drive will leave a mid to short iron to approach the green.  The green is pitched severely from back to front with two greenside bunkers to protect it.

How to Play It:
The 12th hole is a medium length par three and demands an accurate shot to hole the green.  The green complex is guarded by severe false front that leads to a valley short of the green, as well as a bunker on both sides of the green.

How to Play It:
Out of bounds on the left and deep rough on the right make driving the ball in the fairway a necessity to playing the 13th well. A player has many options off the tee but, the approach shot needs to be on the same tier as the hole since putts from the opposite tier are less than easy.

How to Play It:
The drive on the 14th needs to be right of a large fairway bunker on the left, and out of bounds is both on the right and left side. After a 260 yard drive, players face a mid-iron approach that must carry the bunker at the front of the green…. If the shot goes over the green up and downs are rare.

How to Play It:
The 15th is the fourth and final par 3, where the tee shot needs to carry 195 yards to the center of the green. There are bunkers on the right side and front left guarding the green. What makes this hole tough is its two tiers surface which is divided right down the center of the green.

How to Play It:
The 16th hole is a long dogleg left par four, there is a slight elevation going up the hill on the second shot where players should add an extra club.  The green is pitched from back to front with a bunker and tightly mowed grass area that collects errant approach shots.  Key to making par here is to keep the ball below the hole.

How to Play It:
The longest hole on the course, tee shots are challenged by two bunkers approximately 260 yards off the tee on the left side. The 17th leaves the player with a tough decision with the second shot. A creek bisects the fairway 400 yards from the tee and a pond runs from that point to the green on the right. Hit a good second shot and there is a realistic birdie chance.

How to Play It:
The finishing hole is slightly uphill with a bunker cutting off this slight dogleg on the left corner and out of bounds guarding the entire left side of the hole. The second shot is a challenging one calling for a mid-iron into an elevated green with two deep bunkers guarding the front.
