About Our Club

Concord Country Club was founded in 1895 as the Concord Golf Club by a group of twenty Concord residents, led by Moses B. L. Bradford. In 1900, a vote was taken to purchase the Brown Farm and form a new corporation to be called the Concord Country Club. Also that year, golf course architect, Donald Ross, was hired to design the original 9 holes at the current location and the first clay tennis court was built. The first "swimming pool" was created in 1915 by damming the brook on the present seventh hole.

Presently, in addition to it's impeccably maintained golf course, Concord has 6 clay tennis courts, 6 pickleball courts currently under construction, 4 paddle tennis courts and a heated outdoor swimming pool with a children's wading pool.

Concord Country Club is private and as such all information regarding the membership process, dues and initiation fees must go through a member. If you have a friend or colleague who is a member, they can provide you with that information. The Membership Waiting List is managed to ensure that candidates do not wait too long to join - opened and closed at various intervals. Members are notified when the Waiting List is open. Applications for a legacy child of a member are accepted any time.

Dress Code & Guest Policies

We look forward to your visit to Concord Country Club and would like you to note the following:

Dress Code for Golf

Proper golf attire must be worn at all times on the golf course and in all practice areas. Tennis attire and pool attire are not considered appropriate.

Suitable attire for men and boys includes slacks or shorts and a tucked-in collared shirt.

Suitable attire for women and girls includes slacks, golf skirts or golf shorts, and golf shirts. Sleeveless shirts must have a collar.

T-shirts (other than those designed specifically as golf wear for women), Blue jeans, cut-offs, short-shorts, other sport shorts, bathing suits and tank tops are unacceptable. Hats should be worn with the brim facing forward.

Dress Code for Tennis

Suitable tennis attire is required and shirts must be worn. Tennis shoes must be worn at all times on the courts (no bare feet).

Unacceptable attire: Cut-off shorts, running shorts, bathing suits, tank tops and t-shirts (other than those specifically designed as tennis wear, i.e. solid colors with no print other than club or manufacturer's logo or accent).

Dress Code at the Pool

Swim attire should be covered and footwear must be worn when entering or exiting the pool area from the parking lot.

Appropriate swimwear must be worn in the pools; rash guard sun shirts made for pool use will be permitted.

Unacceptable in the pool: boxers, gym shorts or any items of clothing not specifically intended for swimming.

Dress Code for Dining

Suitable: occasion-appropriate attire is required in the Clubhouse and on the Back Terrace. Shirts are to be tucked in when dining

Daytime and lunch service apparel should follow the General Club dress code and should also be in accordance with golf and tennis wear rules if dining after sport

For Special Events and Dinner, unless specified in an invitation; jackets are encouraged for men. Suitable sport clothing may be permitted for dinner, when following a golf or tennis event.

Unacceptable for dining at any time are the following items: Denim jeans, See through tops, tank tops, cargo shorts/pants, short shorts, gym shorts, hats, cut-offs, swimwear, bare feet, flip-flops, and crocs. White jeans that are not torn are permitted

Cell Phone & Smoking Policies

Cell phones should be silenced and their use minimized while at the Club. They may only be used in the locker rooms in the main Clubhouse, in the locker rooms in the Fieldhouse, within automobiles or in the event of an emergency. Cell phones shall not be used on the golf course or elsewhere on Club premises.

Smoking is never permitted inside Club facilities. Smoking is permitted on the main Clubhouse back terrace and side porch when food is not being served and providing it is not offending other members who are present. Smoking is not permitted in the pool area, Fieldhouse or surrounding lawns.
